PORTUGUESE CONVERSATION

Destinatários

This course is for anyone who already has a reasonable level of Portuguese and wants to improve his/her conversation skills in Portuguese. (if you are unsure about your portuguese level, we sugest you to do a interview with one of your teachers to be sure wich couse fits best your needs to learn portuguese).

Objetivo Geral

If you already have some knowledge of Portuguese and want to practice and get more confidence in the daily use of the language, this course helps you to develop your conversation skills in Portuguese.

Objetivos Específicos

This Portuguese Conversation Course will provide you with the ability to:

  • speak Portuguese with confidence;
  • build rapport and strengthen relationships with Portuguese-speaking colleagues and clients through a show of interest in the Portuguese language and culture;
  • demonstrate goodwill and facilitate international communication at both a personal and organizational level;
  • interact more confidently when visiting Portuguese-speaking regions or dealing with Portuguese speakers.

Programa

  • Communication: using rules that speaking easier [17 h]
  • Portugal's traditions, customs, news and cultural events [3 h]
  • Public dialog: ordering, agreeing or disagreeing and expressing personal preferences; [6 h]
  • Sharing opinions in a group context [10 h]
  • Describing and understanding past events [8 h]
  • Beginning a conversation on a specific topic [10 h]
  • Our world: debating current and global issues developing critical opinion and using advanced vocabulary [26 h]

Funcionamento

The class is taught by a specialized and qualified instructor. The instructors are Portuguese and teach their mother tongue, but speak and understand English and/or German and/or French.


During the class the emphasis is on conversation; topics may arise during the lessons, following the news, a local or national event, or a subject brought up by one of the students.


Recursos Pedagógicos

Students play an active role in the content of the course by bringing up questions or issues they would like to speak about during the lessons.

The groups are small so each student has the opportunity to participate in conversations.

Certificado

At the end, you will get a conversation course frequency certificate.
